Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Company parties Competitive salary Free food & snacks Health insurance Job Responsibilities Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, such as balance sheets and income statements, following GAAP standards. Analyze financial data and prepare reports for senior management Identify and communicate economic trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenue and expenses Manage all aspects of the organization’s accounting processes, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, budgeting, and forecasting. Oversee payroll process to ensure data accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations. Assist with various tasks when required including preparing/filing/assisting with filing of: SOIs, 1099s, City of LA, WC & Liab audits, State SOS Renewals Coordinate with external auditors to ensure compliance with overall organization policies and procedures. Develop and maintain internal control systems to ensure the accuracy of financial reporting. Identify areas of improvement in the accounting process and make appropriate recommendations. Develop and implement strategies to improve financial operations’ overall efficiency and effectiveness. Research technical accounting issues for compliance Assist in evaluating the financial impact of business initiatives and investments and contribute to long-term financial planning and growth strategies. Job Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification Proven experience (5+ years) as a Controller or in a similar financial leadership role. Advanced knowledge of GAAP principles and regulations Working knowledge of accounting software solutions, including QuickBooks Desktop & QuickBooks Online Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
