Service PorterThe Service Porter plays a key role in supporting the Service Department by ensuring vehicles are properly prepared, moved, and maintained throughout the service process. This position helps create an efficient workflow and delivers a positive customer experience by keeping vehicles clean, fueled, organized, and ready for service or delivery.Job ResponsibilitiesMove vehicles to and from the service drive, technician bays, parking areas, and wash stationsGreet customers in the service drive and provide basic assistance as neededMaintain vehicles in clean, presentable, and service-ready conditionWash, vacuum, and detail vehicles as requiredFuel vehicles prior to delivery or return to customersTransport vehicles to customers, vendors, or off-site locations when necessaryAssist with inventory organization and monthly physical inventory countsKeep the service lot and surrounding areas orderly and safeSupport service advisors and technicians with vehicle movement and stagingAttend department meetings and follow all company safety policiesEducation and/or ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED preferredPrevious automotive, dealership, or customer service experience a plusValid driver's license with an acceptable driving record requiredPhysical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
