Marketing and Communications Specialist

We're looking for a Marketing & Communications Specialist who can roll up their sleeves and execute. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role with real room to grow as our marketing function matures. You'll be writing for a range of audiences and purposes: talent acquisition, client acquisition, sales campaigns, internal communications. The ideal candidate has some grounding in financial services or a similarly relationship-driven, trust-based industry, and understands how to write with that kind of credibility and nuance. What You'll Do Write and edit content across a wide range of formats and purposes: client-facing materials advisors may use to attract/retain clients, ghost-writing for industry publications or online postings, newsletter articles, LinkedIn posts, email campaigns, presentations, talent acquisition materials, event invitations, and leave-behind pieces Take a rough idea or a leadership directive and turn it into polished, on-brand, compliance-ready copy — quickly and without a lot of back-and-forth Draft internal firm-wide communications and announcements, ensuring messaging is aligned with vision and mission statements Manage and maintain our website content and LinkedIn & Facebook accounts — posting, scheduling, and keeping content current across platforms Review and proofread marketing materials for accuracy, tone, and consistency before they go out Keep marketing projects organized and moving — track deadlines, manage the queue of requests, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks Support compliance review processes to ensure materials meet financial services marketing requirements What We're Looking For Required: 3+ years of professional writing/content experience, with a strong portfolio showing range (long-form, short-form, digital, print) Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills — this is the core of the job Ability to shift tone and message across different audiences: talent acquisition, client-facing trust-building, and internal firm communications Strong organizational skills; comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines at once Basic comfort with digital tools Preferred: Experience in financial services, insurance, or another relationship-driven, trust-based industry Familiarity with FINRA/SEC marketing compliance requirements Graphic design skills or experience Why This Role You’ll have real ownership over the words that represent our company to advisors, clients, career candidates, and our own team, with real opportunity to bring your own ideas to how we tell that story.
