(USA) Maintenance Manager (Grocery)

Location: 940 E Pleasant Run Rd, Lancaster, TX 75146 Position Summary Communicate with individuals or groups verbally and in writing (e.g., customers, suppliers, associates). Drive and implement the business plan for the area of responsibility to achieve facility goals (production, quality, safety) and operational improvements. Forecast and follow up on staffing workload and performance results to meet business demands. Manage financial aspects by monitoring and tracking expenses versus budget, tracking asset utilization, and preparing, reviewing, and analyzing business reports. Ensure compliance with logistics and company quality and safety standards, policies, procedures, and directives; develop, distribute, or maintain procedures and supporting documentation. Resolve associate, customer, and supplier concerns using judgment or consulting others as needed. Supervise and manage associates and leaders, giving direction, monitoring performance, providing feedback, identifying training needs, and supporting learning and growth; participate in hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching, and evaluation. Oversee maintenance department daily operations, monitoring and driving performance related to maintaining warehouse equipment (material handling, pneumatic systems, electrical systems, air compressors, ammonia refrigeration, general building repairs) and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations (OSHA, Hazardous Waste, NFPA, Storm Water, DOT). Direct financial aspects as assigned, monitoring and tracking expenses and capital expenditures versus budget and analyzing business reports. Minimum Qualifications Associate’s degree or equivalent technical certification (e.g., Maintenance, Controls, Electrical) and 1 year of experience in operations, distribution, logistics, or retail with supervisory responsibilities; or At least 3 years of experience in a maintenance or related technical environment with comparable leadership and staffing responsibilities. Requires successful completion of all job‑required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings). Preferred Qualifications Experience with Facility Maintenance, Financial Modeling and Analysis, General Maintenance. Managing challenging workforce issues, Material Handling Equipment (MHE), Modeling/Forecasting, Budget execution, P&L accountability, Project Management. Supervision of Associates and Management in a Walmart environment. Educational background in Electrical Science, Business, Finance, Logistics, Management, or Operations Management (Bachelors preferred). Compensation & Benefits Annual salary range: $104,000.00 – $156,000.00. Annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) based on location.
