Marlow's Tavern Dishwasher/PrepChef-driven food is at the heart of Marlow's Tavern. The role of dishwasher/prep exists to set the stage for a world-class dining experience, whether thru cleaning & sanitation of service-ware or preparation of food products.Daily Responsibilities of Dishwasher include but are not limited to:Understands and adheres to all food safety and sanitation procedures and promotes a safe work placeFollow excellence in great uniform standards dailyCommunicates with chef, managers and other team members to learn of daily features, events, and important shift informationRetrieves sufficient food product from storage based on daily production needs and par levels for prepSets up station with food products and utensils and turns on equipment to ensure the station is ready for productionCuts, slices, unwraps, and prepares raw ingredients (ex. fresh produce, meat cuts) for use on the line and for use in food prep recipesMixes and assembles recipe ingredients using proper portioning techniques and recipe procedures to create prepared food productsAssists Chef with evaluation of on hand par levels and completion of daily prep listsChecks and adjusts temperature of equipment to ensure food is cooked and stored at the proper temperaturePrepares food items using recipe instructions, proper portioning methods, and cooking standardsInspects color, consistency, firmness, and temperature of food products to ensure food is cooked to standardsAssembles the dish machine and maintains the dish station to prepare for cleaning and sanitizing silverware, plateware, glasses, etc.Reasons to join our team include:Paid VacationMedical, Vision, Dental Insurance OfferedRoom for AdvancementShift MealsCareer Growth OpportunityCandidates Must have the following:Be authorized to work in the USMust be able to work day and night shifts between 11am-11pmHave reliable transportationHave excellent interpersonal and team work skillsAble to speak, read, write and understand the primary language (English) used in the tavernPossess basic computational abilityAble to taste food & beverage offerings in order to know flavor profile, learn, understand, sell and support preparation of items as necessary for roleAble to memorize and replicate food production proceduresAble to read prep and service recipesMarlow's Tavern is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment based on race, color, religion, national origin, age, gender, sex, ancestry, citizenship status, mental or physical disability, genetic information, sexual orientation, veteran status, or military status.
