MEMBER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

In this role, you'll be the face of our credit union — building meaningful relationships with members and helping them navigate their financial needs with confidence and care. Responsibilities: Greet and assist members in-person, by phone, and through digital channels with a positive, professional attitude Process financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and account transfers accurately and efficiently Open new member accounts, CDs, and savings products while explaining features and benefits Identify member needs and recommend appropriate credit union products and services Resolve member inquiries, concerns, and account issues with a focus on first-contact resolution Maintain compliance with credit union policies, procedures, and federal and state regulations Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in customer service, banking, or a financial institution preferred but not required Strong communication skills with a member-first, service-oriented mindset Basic math proficiency and attention to detail for accurate transaction processing Ability to multitask in a fast-paced branch environment Proficiency with computers and the ability to learn banking software quickly About Us: Gateway Credit Union has proudly served the Clarksville, TN community since 1959 with member-focused financial solutions built on trust, integrity, and personalized service.
