Patient Care Technician - Ortho Med/Surg. - Fulltime Nights This full‑time position requires 36 hours per week, night shift schedule, with opportunities for overtime and cross‑shift coverage if desired. Responsibilities Performs various patient care activities, including monitoring and interpreting cardiac telemetry rhythm strips, receptionist and secretarial duties, and other patient care tasks. Must be willing to cross‑train and float to meet the facility's needs. Ability to read, write, and have working knowledge of medical terminology. Completion of formal training program for Certified Nursing Assistants; possesses state CNA certification. Must hold a current CNA license in the state of Florida. Current American Heart Association BLS certification. Strong communication skills to relate to customers. Must be able to perform EKGs. Computer skills for order entry and ADT function.
