Telecommute until restrictions.Primary Responsibilities:Perform all phases of software engineering including requirements analysis, application design, code development, testing, deploy to prod and supportDevelop web services in Java and Experienced with REST APIsInvolve in designing and implementing core components for the application softwareDesign, develop and test reusable frameworks, libraries using JavaExperience developing, maintaining, versioning. monitoring and deploying APIs and web microservicesDesigning and implementing product features in collaboration with business and IT stakeholdersParticipate in team discussions on roadmap and planningBe innovative in solution design and development to meet the needs of the businessAddress the performance issues and design the solutions to meet low latency needsSupport the implementation and drive it to stable state in productionProvide alternate design solutions along with project estimatesReviewing code and providing feedback relative to best practices, improving performance, etc.Troubleshooting production support issues post-deployment and come up with solutions as requiredDemonstrate substantial depth of knowledge and experience in Full stack developmentProvide automated solutions using Agile framework and DevOps modelDemonstrate substantial depth of knowledge in Continuous Integration deployment process to deploy the APIs and used different tools to implement CICD process for the APIs - Jenkins, XL ReleaseCollaborate with the team to meet project timelinesParticipate in Agile/Scrum methodology to deliver high-quality software releasesDemonstrate good communication skillsYou’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications: Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience5+ years of cloud experience (strong preference for Azure)4+ years of Java development experience3+ years of experience with SQL3+ years of experience with a major CICD tool (ex. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $90,500 to $161,600.
