• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 3 months (13-26 week option available)
• Pay Rate: $55.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Night shift, 3×12 hours, 19:00-07:30; weekend coverage every other weekend (may change based on need)
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This travel nursing opportunity is a Cardiac Telemetry assignment serving inpatient adults with actual or potential life-threatening multisystem or cardiac conditions. Common cardiovascular diagnoses include but are not limited to sepsis, MI, unstable angina, and Coronary Artery Disease. The patient population may also include cardiac patients receiving IV antiarrhythmic therapy, vasoactive infusions, and anticoagulation. Float to like units or to other facilities is required depending on need.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer vasoactive drugs
• Provide antiarrhythmic drug therapy
• Administer thrombolytic therapy
• Perform defibrillation/cardioversion
• Assist with thoracentesis
• Monitor cardiac telemetry
• Perform and interpret EKG
• Conduct non-invasive blood pressure monitoring
• Float to like units or to other facilities as required based on need

Required Skills

• Minimum 1 year of EPIC experience
• Proficiency in vasoactive drug administration
• Proficiency in antiarrhythmic drug therapy
• Proficiency in thrombolytic therapy
• Proficiency in defibrillation/cardioversion
• Proficiency in cardiac telemetry monitoring

Education Requirements

• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• SC RN License required
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)

Required Experience

• 2 years of experience in the field preferred; first-time travelers will be reviewed based on experience
• Minimum 1 year of EPIC experience required
