Quality Technician:  Sterling , Illinois
Our customer in Sterling, Illinois is seeking detail-oriented individuals to join their growing team. We’re now hiring a Quality Technician to work full-time on 2nd shift. In this role, you'll be responsible for conducting quality audits during and after the manufacturing process to ensure all products meet company quality standards. You’ll play a critical part in maintaining product excellence and supporting the overall success of the production team.

Responsibilities of the Quality Technician:

• Approve or reject in-process and finished goods by confirming specifications through visual and measurement testing
• Communication required adjustments or rework to production and quality leadership
• Tag all non-conforming products (red tag) and approve conforming units for shipment (green tag)
• Perform accurate measurements using metric or standard tape measures
• Read and interpret Job Traveler instructions and simple blueprints
• Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area
• Follow quality standards in accordance with the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system
• Operate basic office equipment (printer, copier, fax, computer, phone)
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Quality Technician Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a quality control or quality assurance role
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook and Excel, preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow timelines
• Capable of reading blueprints and written work instructions
• Physically able to perform standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, squatting, and climbing ladders throughout extended shifts
• Must be able to work up to a 10-hour shift if needed
• Must pass a background check and drug test

Pay for Quality Technician: $22.42/hour
