Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

Job Summary: The Quote Coordinator is responsible for coordinating purchasing quote activities and tracking quote requests from start to finish. This position works closely with the Sales and Strategic Sourcing teams to prepare and request quote packages from suppliers, including specifications, standards, and prints. The Quote Coordinator will communicate with suppliers, answer questions related to Requests for Quote (RFQs), and follow up to ensure quote and delivery due dates are met.

Job Duties:

• Prepare pricing requests for customers, including large corporate customers such as Caterpillar
• Prepare and distribute Request for Quote (RFQ) packages to suppliers
• Review specifications, standards, prints, and other documentation needed for quote requests
• Communicate with suppliers and respond to questions regarding RFQs
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure pricing and delivery due dates are met
• Track quote activity and maintain accurate records
• Work closely with Sales and Strategic Sourcing teams
• Communicate effectively with multiple departments to ensure timely completion of quote requests
• Maintain a high level of organization, accuracy, and attention to detail

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Schedule: MondayFriday 7:00 AM4:00 PM

Experience or Skill Requirements:

• Strong Excel skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook
• Professional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with multiple departments and external suppliers
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Comfortable working independently in a quiet, professional corporate environment
• Previous manufacturing, purchasing, quoting, customer service, or office experience preferred
