Speech-Language Pathologist – Hospital

Tucson, AZ

We’re seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a hospital-based team in Tucson, Arizona . This role is ideal for an SLP experienced in evaluating and treating patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in an acute care setting.

• Conduct evaluations and provide treatment for patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders

• Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes

• Document patient care accurately and in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards

• Educate patients and families on strategies for communication and swallowing management

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program (MS/MA)

• Current state SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY eligibility

• BLS certification

• Must have previous acute hospital experience , and minimum 2 years recent experience in job .

• Previous travel experience is preferred.

• Strong clinical, assessment, and communication skills
