**Years of Experience Required:** - 1.5 Years **Certifications Required:** - BLS - NRP - AWHONN Intermediate course required - ACLS - AWHONN Beginner (optional) - AWHONN fetal monitoring or C-EFM **Experience Required:** - L&D Travel experience - Charting with Cerner system - High risk OB unit experience preferred - Labor & Delivery skills including administration of blood, Amnioinfusion, antihypertensives, and insulin drips - Use of EFM and IUPC placement and calibration - VBAC management and trial of labor - Administering Pitocin (oxytocin), Prostaglandins, Terbutaline **Special Skills Required:** - Antepartum care, Assist with high risk delivery, Assist with vaginal delivery, Couplet Care - Neonatal Resuscitation, Infant Identification, Newborn Assessment - Recovery of C-Section, APGAR scores, Baby Nurse (Baby Catcher), - Management of complications such as Malpresentations, Placenta Previa/Abruptio, Pre-eclampsia/eclampsia **Licensure:** - Must be in hand prior to start date; temporary licenses may be obtainable once permanent license applications have been submitted **Travel Experience Required:** - Yes **Preferred Experience:** - Trauma Level I **Additional Requirements:** - Two supervisor references required - Floating is 100% required at hospital or affiliate hospitals - Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays **University Accreditation:** - Travelers' university must be accredited by the ACEN or CCNE at the time of graduation
