Title
Emergency Department Registered Nurse - Emergency Nursing

Schedule
Weekends: Yes - 6 weekend shifts per 6 weeks
Holiday coverage: Must commit to working 3 of 5 holidays

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years RN experience
- Community hospital experience required
- Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC
- Charting system experience: Epic required
- Patient ratio experience: 1:3

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide critical patient care in emergency situations, including triage and stabilization of patients.
- Administer treatments and medications as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor and manage patients with acute health issues, including but not limited to trauma, stroke, and respiratory distress.
- Document patient assessments and care in the electronic health record accurately and in a timely manner.

Compliance / Notes
- Compact license must be in hand at submission.
- Background checks are mandatory.
- Return staff eligible to return after 3 months.
- Request RTO/scheduling restrictions up-front; post-offer RTO may not be granted.
- Scrubs/dress code: Solid navy blue uniforms or scrubs (print tops not acceptable).
- Free employee/visitor parking available.
