Medical Assistant Float

CenterWell Home Health, part of Humana Inc., seeks a Medical Assistant Float to support our in-home care teams serving seniors and adults with chronic conditions. In this role, you'll assist with vital signs, basic clinical tasks, documentation, and visit preparation across multiple patient homes. You'll collaborate with nurses, therapists, and other clinicians to support personalized care plans, ensure a safe, comfortable environment, and help patients manage illness and remain independent. Responsibilities Support clinicians with in-home patient visits, including vital signs, basic tests, and documentation Prepare patients and home environments for visits, ensuring safety, comfort, and infection control Accurately document patient information in electronic health records and assist with care coordination Communicate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to support care plans Manage scheduling support, visit follow-ups, and basic administrative tasks as needed Travel between patient homes and locations as a floating resource to multiple care teams Monitor supplies and equipment, ensuring proper use, cleanliness, and availability Follow all clinical protocols, HIPAA requirements, and safety procedures Required Skills Vital signs measurement Electronic health records (EHR) documentation Basic clinical procedures (phlebotomy, specimen collection) Infection control practices Medical terminology HIPAA compliance Care coordination support Patient scheduling and follow-up Home health safety protocols Basic computer proficiency #J-18808-Ljbffr
