Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse in the specialty of Behavioral Health. This role involves working in an acute inpatient behavioral health and addictions setting. The position requires expertise in behavioral management and accurate charting. Staff members will rotate between two units within the facility. The patient ratio is typically 12:1, depending on census. Patients must be medically cleared before entering the facility. Certain patients with specific medical needs are excluded from admission. Charting is primarily paper-based, with additional order entry through a designated platform. Medications are managed through a medication dispensing system. The patient population primarily consists of adults facing various mental health and substance abuse disorders. Ideal candidates will be critical thinkers and possess positive team-oriented attitudes. Empathy and kindness are essential traits for this role.
