Licensed Caregiver - RNThe Licensed Caregiver – RN position provides, plans, coordinates or manages Health & Wellness Services and health education to residents requiring complex care.Key ResponsibilitiesThe OpportunityThe Licensed Caregiver – RN position provides, plans, coordinates or manages Health & Wellness Services and health education to residents requiring complex care.What You'll DoHelping residents with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and dressingSupporting residents with medicationOperating and monitoring medical equipmentPerforming and analyzing diagnostic testsTake vital signs, such as blood pressure, heart rate and pulseContributing to and setting up residents' care plansProvide emotional support, consult, and to serve as a source of comfort for residents and their loved onesPartner with, and improve working relationships, with doctors and healthcare providersRecognize abnormal changes in body functioning and report to a supervisorPlans, organizes, and evaluates care for residents with complex medical Nursing needs.Performs comprehensive Nursing assessments.Responsibilities include customer service, safety, resident care, and communication.What You'll BringPosition Requirements / Qualifications:Associates degree or higher, focused on advancement into medical services, or similar, preferred3-5 years of Public Health experience with completion or readiness to apply for a certification administered by the National Board of Public Health Examiners, preferredMust pass State and Company criminal background/drug screens.Demonstrates effective time management skills.A registered nurse with management or supervisor experience in long-term care or geriatric Nursing.Current state license to practice as a nurse.Current CPR certification and additional certification in Nursing specialty desired.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision and peripheral vision.Read, write, speak and understand the English language.Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.Interpret and implement written or oral policies, procedures, and instructions.Medication supervision (within the scope of the state regulations)Location InformationThe Wellstead of Rogers & Diamondcrest is a beautiful community in Rogers, MN, with more than 230 units offering assisted living and Alzheimer's care.Job TypeFull-TimeJob CategoryClinicalWork ShiftDaytimeAuto req ID147014BR
