The Risk & Safety Consultant Junior role provides leadership to our business-owner clients and our internal team of experts. The BBSI Junior Risk Consultant primary objective is to help business owners maximize their investment in human capital through establishment of Risk and Workers' Compensation best practices. Successful candidate will have a strong focus in risk management, workers' compensation and risk mitigation strategies that positively impact our clients and BBSI. This person must demonstrate strong abilities in workers' compensation, risk and safety, training and development, and creating and implementing overall risk strategy with clients. Need an entrepreneurial spirit with a genuine desire to proactively and consistently deliver results for our clients and internal teams. This position is a full time, exempt position that is accountable to the Branch Area Manager and their respective Business Unit(s). Requirements Solid understanding of occupational health and safety principles and practices Experience working in a fast paced, client facing team environment Experience working directly with business owners a plus Understanding of safety culture and ability to demonstrate how to shift one Demonstrated proficiency in conducting root cause analysis for risk mitigation Demonstrated experience with customer collaboration Workers' Compensation Claims experience preferred Ability to benchmark, measure, analyze and articulate the value of risk management initiatives, practices and policies. At least 5 years of workers' compensation claims mgmt., risk management, occupational health and safety and regulatory experience required. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography, skills, education, experience, certifications and other qualifications of the candidate. This position is also eligible for incentive pay in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan.
