Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Delaware-barred associate attorney to join its Wilmington, DE office. This full-time, hybrid position offers a dynamic environment where a motivated lawyer can gain hands‑on experience in diverse fields of litigation. The role involves representing clients in various legal matters, providing a unique opportunity for professional growth. Duties Represent clients in all phases of litigation from initiation to expert discovery. Attend court appearances, hearings, depositions, and case management conferences. Conduct complex legal research and discovery investigations. Draft discovery requests, motions, and legal memoranda. Review discovery responses and prepare litigation update reports. Negotiate with opposing counsel to settle claims. Communicate closely with clients to provide legal analysis and advice. Requirements Must be barred in Delaware. Experience in medical malpractice, professional liability, and/or employment litigation is a plus. Excellent writing and organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Lexis software. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Admission to the Delaware Bar. Skills Strong legal research and analytical skills.
