Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Travel | Nights (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) | Weekend rotation or block scheduling available | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit during night shift hours
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Monitor and document patient progress, responding promptly to changes in condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and compliance requirements including AHCA standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Florida state RN license or multistate (compact) RN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Surgical RN experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• AHCA compliance required for all Florida-based travel assignments

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a travel nursing capacity in a Medical Surgical setting
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems used in acute care environments
