As an Access Control Officer in a healthcare location, you will manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor visitor activity, and provide outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Mon 03:30 PM - 12:00 AM

Wed 11:30 PM - 08:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, delivery personnel, and vendors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare supply and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor sign-in processes, and maintain accurate entry and exit records in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, building areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Prepare clear, timely reports and logs related to visitor activity, incidents, access-control events, and daily security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
