Travel Polysomnographer (Sleep Technologist) – Nights

Location: Albany, Oregon
Contract: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights | 6:30 PM–7:00 AM | Every Weekend
⏱️ Hours: 36 Hours/Week

We're seeking an experienced Polysomnographer / Sleep Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment providing overnight sleep testing and diagnostic polysomnographic services. The technologist will perform patient setups, monitor sleep activity, and record PSG and video data for diagnostic evaluation.

✅ Requirements
Active, unencumbered Oregon Polysomnographic Technologist (PSGT) License
Minimum 3 years of Polysomnography / Sleep Technology experience
Current RPSGT Certification through BRPT
Current Healthcare Provider BLS Certification
Graduate of an approved polysomnography, neurodiagnostics, or related healthcare program
Experience performing overnight sleep studies and polysomnographic testing
Strong patient monitoring, documentation, and communication skills

Clinical Experience
Perform patient setup for overnight sleep testing
Conduct and monitor polysomnographic (PSG) studies
Record overnight sleep activity and video for diagnostic evaluation
Monitor patients throughout sleep studies and identify relevant changes
Administer sleep medications according to established policies when applicable
Maintain accurate and complete sleep study documentation
Communicate and coordinate activities with the Sleep Lab leadership team
Ensure equipment is properly prepared and functioning during studies
Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout overnight testing
Follow applicable clinical, safety, and infection-control standards

12.5-hour overnight shifts

Holiday coverage required
Established sleep center providing diagnostic testing for sleep disturbances and neurological-related disorders
