- Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Evaluate patients' needs and formulate personalized therapy strategies to help them achieve their functional objectives.
- Perform Therapeutic Interventions: Apply proven practices to support patients in enhancing their motor skills, cognitive functions, and activities of daily living.
- Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, interdisciplinary care.
- Educate Patients and Their Families: Provide instruction on therapy techniques, empowering patients and caregivers to continue progress outside clinical settings.
- Track Patient Progress: Monitor clinical developments and modify treatment strategies as necessary to ensure patients remain on their recovery paths.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Ongoing education and post-graduate certification opportunities available and encouraged.
- Valid and active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required.
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required.
