Job Responsibilities

  • Perform Therapeutic Interventions: Apply proven practices to support patients in enhancing their motor skills, cognitive functions, and activities of daily living.
  • Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, interdisciplinary care.
  • Educate Patients and Their Families: Provide instruction on therapy techniques, empowering patients and caregivers to continue progress outside clinical settings.
  • Track Patient Progress: Monitor clinical developments and modify treatment strategies as necessary to ensure patients remain on their recovery paths.
Education Requirements
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Ongoing education and post-graduate certification opportunities available and encouraged.
Licensing and Certifications
  • Valid and active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required.
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required.
