Charge Nurse - Emergency Room (ER) - Night Shift Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule This position requires a night shift schedule, working three 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00, with rotating weekends. Job Description We are seeking an experienced Charge Nurse to provide oversight and leadership in our Emergency Room. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and emergency room experience to effectively manage patient care and ensure high-quality standards are met. Responsibilities Supervise nursing care delivered in the Emergency Room, ensuring regulatory compliance and patient safety. Coordinate patient care and facilitate communication between multidisciplinary teams. Manage emergency interventions and code situations while leading the nursing team in delivering effective care. Oversee discharge processes and admissions to maintain the flow of patient care. Report on sentinel events and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 1 year of charge nurse or supervisory experience in an Emergency Room setting. Current certifications: BLS, ALS, and PALS.
