Growth Marketing Manager

We're looking for a Growth Marketing Manager to own marketing initiatives at The Realest, end to end. As our first dedicated marketing hire, you'll run our social and paid channels day to day and build the systems and automations that let one person do the work of a small team. This is the person who turns our auctions into moments collectors don't want to miss. You won't be flying solo in the ways that matter: you'll have strong peers across operations and the founding team to partner with.

We have a beautiful office in Los Angeles, and ideally you'd spend a few days a week here with us. The pace moves quickly, so being in person helps you get a feel for how we work and hear the best stories right from the source.

This starts as a contract role with the potential to convert to full-time down the line.

Requirements

What You'll Do

• Own our social presence across platforms - planning and shipping content that makes collectors feel the story behind each piece and shows up for every auction.
• Run performance marketing end to end: build, launch, and optimize paid campaigns (Meta, Google, and beyond), manage budget, and report on what's actually driving buyers and bidders.
• Grow the audience and the list - turn one-time browsers into repeat bidders through email, retargeting, and lifecycle marketing.
• Use AI and automation to scale content, reporting, and campaign ops - so the repetitive work runs itself and your time goes to strategy and creative.
• Partner across the company - work with operations on auction timing, with authentication on the stories that make items special, and with the founders on brand and positioning.
• Track what matters and share it plainly - bring a clear, honest read on performance and turn it into the next set of bets.
  

What We're Looking For

• A track record of running paid campaigns you were accountable for - you know how to read the numbers and move them.
• Genuine fluency with AI tools in your day-to-day, and energized rather than daunted by an autonomous, build-it-yourself role.
• A self-starter who thrives with autonomy - comfortable setting priorities, building from scratch, and shipping without a lot of scaffolding.
• Strong writing and visual instincts, or the resourcefulness to produce great creative with the tools and partners available.
• Bonus: a real interest in sports, music, or movie memorabilia - or the collector world more broadly. You don't have to be an expert, but caring about this stuff goes a long way.
