MLee has been engaged by a local facility to find an experienced Travel CT Tech to fill a position in the Radiology department for a 13 week contract.

Job Description:

A CT (computed tomography) technologist is a medical professional who operates specialized imaging equipment to create detailed, cross-sectional images of a patient's body. These images are used by physicians to diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions. CT technologists typically work in hospitals or diagnostic imaging centers and may specialize in a specific area of the body, such as the brain or chest.

The job responsibilities of a CT technologist include:

• Preparing patients for the CT scan by explaining the procedure and positioning them on the imaging table
• Operating the CT equipment and adjusting settings as needed
• Monitoring the patient's condition during the scan and making any necessary adjustments
• Reviewing images to ensure they are of high quality and free of artifacts.
• Cleaning and maintaining the CT equipment.
• Keeping accurate records of the procedures performed and patients scanned.
• Communicating with physicians and other healthcare professionals as needed

Contract Details:

• 13 weeks
• $2,700 weekly take home on 36 hours
• $3,840 weekly take home on 48 hours
• 02/06 Start date
• 13 weeks
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a CT Tech
