This pivotal role is responsible for leading and managing the departments functions in alignment with our mission and goals. The ideal candidate will be a Registered Nurse with a robust background in critical thinking and decision-making within the scope of the Registered Nurse Practice Act./ppstrongKey Responsibilities:/strong/pulliEnsure patient safety within Postpartum and Newborn Nursery environments./liliUtilize effective communication and information management skills in daily operations./liliImplement and uphold the ANA Standards of Care and Professional Practice./liliAct as a liaison to enhance partnerships with patients and their families./liliSupport the continuity and coordination of care across various settings./liliMaintain high-quality, developmentally appropriate care for patient populations ranging from infants to adults./liliDevelop and lead Womens Health-specific initiatives and process improvements./liliFoster collaborative practice and relationships with all healthcare team members./liliOversee management of staff, payroll, budget, capital planning, and physician relationships./liliCoordinate with community and institutional partners./liliSupervise the organization of human and material resources./liliPerform additional duties as assigned./li/ulpstrongQualifications:/strong/pullistrongEducation/Experience:/strong A Bachelors Degree in Nursing is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
