Drivers will be hauling refrigerated goods throughout the northeast, southeast, midwest, and Texas. 100% of the freight hauled is customer freight, not brokered freight. Compensation Average weekly pay: $1,500 to $1,800 Base 56 CPM with an average of 2,700 – 3,200 miles weekly ½ CPM increase every 6 months! Passengers must be at least 14 years old & cannot be a CDL holder Pet deposit: $400 deposit deducted at $50 per week Home Time, Route, & Schedule Home Time: 1 day home for each week on the road with additional opportunities to get home for breaks during the week Schedule: 12-14 days out with swing through home access every 4-5 days Drivers can stay out longer if preferred Route: Throughout the northeast, southeast, midwest, and Texas No NYC or long island Level of Touch: No touch freight Equipment 2023 & Newer Volvo & International sleeper trucks 53’ Air-ride refrigerated trailers Automatic transmission Governed speed: 69mph on the pedal, 72mph on cruise Amenities: GPS tablet, fridge, mattress, APU, power inverter ELD equipped using Samsara system Drivewyze bypass service Outward facing cameras Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age Must have CDL A license Must have a minimum of 15 months verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience within the past 3 years No reckless/careless driving, 15 over speeding, cell phone use, U-turns, or backing on a roadway in the past 3 years No drug or alcohol-related convictions for as long as the driver has held a CDL No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years No more than 1 preventable crash in the past year or 2 preventable crashes in the past 3 years Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within 75 miles of Tavares, FL or be willing to relocate for this position At Sunstate Carriers Inc., we strive to provide a high-quality transportation experience.
