The senior accountant is responsible for managing core general ledger activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes. The senior accountant plays a key role in financial analysis, audits, and special accounting projects.
Responsibilities of Senior Accountant
- Lead and maintain main GL functions, including reconciliations
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Prepare monthly financial statements
- Perform financial reporting and analysis
- Support year-end close, audits, and special projects as a senior accountant
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- General ledger experience
- Year-end close experience
- Experience with accounting systems
