The anticipated pay range for candidates who will work in California is $18.00 to $20.00 hourly. The offered pay to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc. 

We are looking for a part-time Medical Records Assistant, M-F evenings, 4 pm to 8 pm .

We are looking for candidates who model a positive and professional image that emulates the organization's mission and encourages a spirit of cooperation with co-workers. We need team members who provide assistance to co-workers and promotes teamwork by sharing information useful to achieving desired results.

Required:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• 1-2 years health care related experience preferred, previous experience in Skilled Nursing environment desirable
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
• Ability to represent Company in an ethical and professional manner, and to maintain accountability
• Ability it interact tactfully, effectively, and professionally with other employees, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public, as needed.
• Must be able to relate to and work with physically and/or mentally ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile people within facility and treat them with respect and consideration regardless of their cognitive or functional level.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and be discreet
• Must be knowledgeable of nursing/medical practices and procedures, and/or terminology, laws, regulations, and the guidelines that pertain to long-term care
