Assistant Property Manager

Key Responsibilities Complete the property administrative operations (A/P, evictions, collections, billing, and month-end close out procedures). Maintain accurate and organized records; audit resident files to ensure accurate records. Update on a daily basis all rents, deposits, and application fees received. Issue appropriate notices when necessary (e.g., late notices, evictions notices, returned check notices). Minimize delinquency losses by promptly performing all collection procedures (e.g., late notices, court filings, eviction proceedings, judgments, and collection agency transfers). Assist in managing daily property operations, including leasing, renewals, and move-ins/move-outs Partner with site maintenance to manage work order completion, track make-ready boards, and streamline unit turnover schedules to ensure seamless move-ins. Responsible for walking units and posting all move-out charges, statements, and security deposit refunds. Willing and able to respond to on-site emergencies when the Property Manager is unavailable or when requested to do so. Ensure customer service standards are being met to ensure maximum resident satisfaction and retention. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred 1+ years of experience in property management, leasing, or resident services Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel Experience with Yardi Voyager Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize across multiple concurrent responsibilities A growth mindset with a genuine desire to build a career in property management -- someone who comes ready to learn, takes feedback well, and wants to advance within the industry Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends as needed Ability to conduct property walks, including extended walking and stair navigation Valid driver's license may be required depending on property location Schedule: Monday - Friday (9am - 6pm) and weekends as needed #J-18808-Ljbffr Greyshore Management
