Acute Rehabilitation Unit COTA, Certified Occupational Therapy AssistantIn collaboration with, and under the direction and supervision of an occupational therapist, helps each patient develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working, through the therapeutic use of everyday activities and exercise, outlined in an established care plan.Job RequirementsEducation: Graduate of and degree holder from an Occupational Therapy Assistant Education Program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy EducationPreferred experience: 12 to 18 months related experience, excluding clinical affiliations required to complete a degreeLicensure: Current Arkansas OTA license in good standing requiredCertification: Current CPR certificationSafety Sensitive Designation: This position is deemed safety sensitive in accordance with Arkansas Act 593 governing Medical Marijuana.Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job with or without an accommodation. Must be able to operate a computer keyboard and PC mouse to utilize computer software for patient care documentation.
