Physical Therapist

Job Summary:

We seek a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to provide skilled nursing care, case management, and hospice care in Fairbanks, AK. The role involves patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. The nurse will support individuals facing advancing age, frailty, and serious illness, ensuring strong communication and collaboration with patients and healthcare providers. This position requires at least 2 years of nursing experience and an active Registered Nurse license. Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient assessments and monitor patient conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
• Provide skilled nursing care to patients in various settings including hospice and home health.
• Document patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records.
• Participate in quality assurance and compliance activities as required.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license valid in the state of Alaska.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in hospital, home health, or hospice care.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
• Clinical assessment, medication administration, and treatment planning skills.
• Strong interdisciplinary team collaboration skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Driver's license, car insurance, and reliable automobile for field work.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience working in Medical/Surgical, ICU, ER, Psychiatric, Labor & Delivery, PACU, or Operating Room specialties.
• Previous experience with credentialing and contract compliance processes.

Special Considerations:

• Must complete documentation with ATI prior to assignment clearance.
• Compact nursing license accepted for WA and AK.
• Not eligible for rehire if worked with ATI within the past year; prior workers must be verified for eligibility.
• Equipment will be provided during interview.
• Parking and dress code information will be provided on first day.

Scheduling:

• Day shift schedule with 32 hours per week during holiday weeks.
• Standard 40-hour work weeks otherwise.
• Overtime paid at 1.5 times regular rate.
• No on-call duties required.
• Weekly billing cycle.
