Our culture is collaborative, autonomous, and customer-obsessed.We are looking for a Senior or Staff Software Engineer who would be excited to contribute to the front-end and full-stack of our application, to imagine, design and build new features and products for our customers.Our tech stack is React web front-end and React-Native (iOS/Android) mobile, with a serverless GCP (Node.js / Typescript) backend.This is a hybrid role that allows for remote work flexibility. Every Wednesday, we get together for in-person team collaboration and a team lunch in our Seattle office.You Will:Build delightful and innovative software that makes it easier for our customers to manage finance and accounting tasks. Our customers include both midsize and large construction companies, specifically leaders in finance and accounting.Invent best-in-industry tools while working side-by-side with our customers, team of engineers and business folks.Write scalable software that helps us efficiently handle the large volumes of data on our platform.Minimum Qualifications:Self-motivated and enthusiastic about building great software5+ years of experience in software engineering3+ years of experience with React and/or React-NativeStrong command of HTML/CSSBachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or equivalent experience)Expert knowledge of a statically typed language (ideally Java or Typescript)Work in Seattle office at least once per weekOther Experience (Not Required, We're Happy For You To Learn):Familiarity with accounting conceptsGoogle Cloud PlatformFintech and/or payment processingWe Want You To Love Your Work, Team And Environment - This May Not Be A Good Fit If You:Prefer a highly structured, well-defined environmentAre uncomfortable being the first to figure something outAren't interested in interacting with customersCompensation Range: Senior: $180k-$200k plus equity Staff: $220k-$245k plus equityBenefits include:100% premium coverage for employee health insurance premiums and partial coverage for dependents.Health Savings Account with a company contributionFlexible Spending Account Options: Health Care and Dependent CareDental, Vision, and Life Insurance11 paid company holidays plus generous Paid Time Off (PTO) policyPlus stock options so that you can participate in the company's success!At this time, Finvari is not able to sponsor employment based visas such as H1-B.
