BAE Systems is seeking a versatile and skilled Electrician Handyperson to support our Facilities team. This role is critical in ensuring the safety, functionality, and efficiency of our facility infrastructure. The successful candidate will blend specialized electrical expertise with a generalist's approach to maintenance, handling everything from complex wiring repairs to routine facility upkeep. This position requires a technician who is safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and capable of operating effectively within a high-standard industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical Installation & Repair: Execute the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring and systems to ensure continuous facility operations.
Diagnostic Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve electrical malfunctions and facility-related issues using a methodical approach to minimize operational downtime.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure all work is performed in strict adherence to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and BAE Systems' rigorous electrical safety protocols.
Technical Interpretation: Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics to accurately implement repairs and facility upgrades.
Tool Proficiency: Safely and efficiently utilize a wide range of power tools and diagnostic equipment required for electrical and general maintenance tasks.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities

Pay Information
This position is covered under a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), which will determine your wages.
