Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Texas Physical Therapist license required prior to the start of the assignment. BLS certification required from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings preferred, including evaluation and development of 60-minute evaluations and treatment sessions. Demonstrated competency in documentation, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state and federal guidelines. Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services, and supervise students when assigned. Adherence to state practice act, professional codes of conduct, and completion of state-mandated continuing education requirements. Preferred: Familiarity with safe patient handling, infectious disease precautions, and clinic safety initiatives.
