Custodian, Part Time

Ivy Tech Henry County seeks a part-time custodian for light maintenance work, cleaning and upkeep of facilities. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to : Cleans and maintains all cigarette butt urns on College property. (Outside duty). Stocks all paper and hand cleaning products dispenser in restrooms. Cleans and sanitizes all fixtures, partitions and wall areas, sweep and mop in restrooms daily. Sweeps and maintains entryways and outdoor lounge areas. Maintains all internal and external trash receptacles outside classrooms. Maintains the student commons free of all trash and spills also clean tabletops, chairs and booths. Cleans door window glass and frequently touched vertical surfaces daily. Maintains community rooms and/or meeting setup. Light maintenance as needed, based on skill set. All other duties as assigned. The above list of duties is not to be construed as an exhaustive list. Other duties logically associated with the position may be assigned. Hourly Rate: Starting at $17.00/hour Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent.
