Position: CT Technologist

Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM

Location: Thornton, CO

Unit Information

The CT department features a comprehensive setup for diagnostic imaging with a focus on patient care and advanced technology.

Number of Beds: Not specified
Number of Staff: Daily staffing includes 4 technologists and 1 supervisor; weekends have 3 day staff and 1 night staff.
Type of Staff:
- Day Shifts: 2 Techs (1 from 7 AM - 5 PM & 1 from 9 AM - 9 PM)
- Afternoon Shift (M-F): 1 Tech from 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM
- Night Shift: 1 Tech from 7 PM - 7 AM (cross-trained tech available for x-ray).
Patient Ratios: Not specified
Type of Equipment:
- 2 in-house scanners (128 slice & 16 slice)
- 1 Mobile unit (64 slice)
EMR System: Meditech

Candidate Profile

Must-Have Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 months of current CT Technologist experience
- ARRT (R) (CT) certification
- BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working night shifts
- Trauma Level I or II experience
- Experience with GE equipment, Meditech, and Centricity PACS

Typical Procedures Performed

CT Angiography (CTA)
Abdominal and Pelvic CT Scans
Caput Pelvic CT Scans
