Your expertise in testing, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance helps ensure the highest standards of laboratory operations.What You'll Do• Perform specimen handling, processing, analysis, and reporting according to laboratory procedures and SOPs • Review, verify, and release patient test results accurately and efficiently • Adhere to CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and laboratory safety guidelines • Perform quality control, instrument calibration, maintenance, and documentation activities • Identify and troubleshoot testing issues, documenting corrective actions as required • Communicate STAT and critical test results following departmental procedures • Participate in training, educational meetings, inspections, and ongoing quality initiatives • Maintain laboratory records, reagents, testing supplies, and overall departmental organizationWhat We're Looking For• A current, up-to-date resume • BS in Medical Technology preferred, or BS/BA in Chemistry or Biology, or Associate degree in Laboratory Science or Medical Technology • National certification or eligibility for certification as an MT/MLT through ASCP, AMT, or another recognized organization • Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory experience in high-complexity testing preferred • Strong understanding of laboratory testing, quality control (QC), and quality assurance (QA) practices • Proficiency with computer systems and laboratory information systems • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask • Strong communication and customer service skills • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality at all times • Ability to meet compliance requirementsWhat's In It For You• Competitive pay based on education and experience • First-shift schedule supporting work-life balance • Opportunity to work with advanced laboratory testing and technology • Valuable experience in a regulated clinical laboratory environment • Ongoing training and professional development opportunities • Collaborative and supportive team environmentBenefits for Manpower Associates (Upon Eligibility)Upon completion of waiting period associates are eligible for:• Medical and Prescription Drug Plans • Dental Plan • Supplemental Life Insurance • Short Term Disability Insurance • 401(k)
