Job Title: Supply Management Planner

Client: Heavy Machine Manufacturing Company

Duration: 24 Months (Possible Extension)

Location: Rock Island, IL 61201

Shift: 1st Shift (Between 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage assigned suppliers and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Ensure timely delivery of service parts to meet customer demand.
• Monitor inventory levels and resolve material shortages.
• Track supplier performance and delivery metrics.
• Analyze past due orders and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with buyers, forecast analysts, and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain inventory records using SAP and supply management systems.
• Support procurement and material planning activities.
• Prepare inventory, supplier performance, and delivery reports.
• Identify supply chain issues and recommend process improvements.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in planning activities to support factory and distribution operations.

Must-Have Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Supply Management, Material Planning, Procurement, Logistics, or Inventory Planning.
• Experience working directly with suppliers.
• Inventory management and material planning experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with supplier performance tracking and reporting.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP experience.
• Previous John Deere contingent experience.
• Experience with procurement and forecasting.
• Knowledge of supply chain planning processes.
• Experience preparing inventory and supplier performance reports.
• Continuous Improvement experience.
