Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2 years of ER experience and comfort functioning in a charge role.

Details

• Work in a 15-room ER plus RME space seeing approximately 100 patients per day
• Hospital includes a 13-bed ICU plus MS, PCU, Acute Rehab, and Level 2 OB units
• Facility staffed 24/7 with RT, ER providers, and a hospitalist team
• Shift schedule runs 19:00-07:30
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of ER experience required
• Charge nurse experience required and must be comfortable serving in a charge role
• Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Care for all ER patient populations
• Only one submission allowed per candidate system-wide for Ascension positions
• Radius rule applies and allows local candidates at a reduced rate, with mileage varying by state
• Candidates should begin discussing extension with their manager approximately 45 days before assignment end date
