Schedule & Work-Life Balance

Enjoy a predictable 2-week rotating schedule:

• Week 1: Wednesday & Thursday (7:00 AM 7:00 PM)
• Week 2: Friday, Saturday & Sunday (7:00 AM 7:00 PM)

Built-in extended time off with a 2 on / 2 off / 5 on / 5 off rotation Every other weekend commitment Holiday shifts only when they fall on your scheduled workdays

What You'll Do

In this multifaceted role, you'll help ensure patients receive timely, safe transportation while supporting essential billing operations:

• Coordinate and dispatch emergency and non-emergency patient transports
• Schedule and manage transport requests across UPMC Susquehanna facilities
• Communicate with internal teams, transport crews, and customers to ensure seamless service
• Perform ambulance billing, collections, and accounts receivable follow-up
• Answer questions and resolve concerns related to transport services and billing
• Manage dispatch logs, schedules, and transport documentation
• Assist with reporting, deposits, and monthly financial processes

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Medical secretary or related administrative training preferred
• Minimum of one year of customer service and computer experience preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances

• Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting (with renewal)
• Act 33 Clearance (with renewal)
• Act 34 Criminal Clearance (with renewal)
• Act 73 FBI Clearance (with renewal)
