As a Security Officer - Commercial Site Patrol - Full Time in Charlotte, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more . As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a commercial real estate location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the property, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule Day Time Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You’ll Do Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Working environments and conditions may vary by location. Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual activity to the appropriate personnel. Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and helping to maintain order within the property. Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management as needed. Follow all post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management. What We’re Looking For Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
