Team Members are responsible for preparing and serving up our delicious, all-natural, energizing smoothies as well as consulting and assisting customers in choosing the right vitamins and nutritional supplements to help them reach their health and fitness goals. They are responsible for ensuring Guest satisfaction while following store policy. In addition to all of the skills sets involved with a Team Member, our Team Captains are comfortable taking responsibility as well as delegating it; they thrive on challenges and continually look for opportunities to learn. They are responsible for ensuring Guest satisfaction while maintaining efficient store operations and enforcing store policy. Requirements: At least 16 years old Food Service experience preferred but not required Commission Sales experience helpful Ability to think outside the box to satisfy our guests Genuine care and understanding for people's needs Prior retail sales experience in the Nutrition/Fitness Industry is a PLUS! Education and Experience Requirements Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to communicate effectively with guests, team members, and the community, both orally and in writing. Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time (6 to 8 hours). Must be able to lift and/or move items up to 55 pounds Essential Functions: ALL OF THE DUTIES OF A TEAM MEMBER INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING: Operates a blender and POS cashier system. Regularly moves boxes, weighing up to 55 lbs., throughout the store. Constantly positions self to bend, reach and scoop throughout assigned shifts. Ability to be mobile in walk-in refrigerator and freezer with temperatures ranging from 40° F to -10° F. The employee must be able to tolerate exposure to food allergens. Microsoft Office knowledge required. Knowledgeable of general POS functionality. Excellent Communication Skills, ability to give and receive feedback. Responsibilities:: ALL OF THE DUTIES OF A TEAM MEMBER INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING: Assisting the General Manager in the overall operations of the store in a leadership capacity. Ensuring a superior guest experience, maximizing sales performance, and driving profitability while maintaining a fun and welcoming atmosphere. Will complete the store opening/ closing and following opening/ closing procedures Makes bank deposits and reconcile daily cash drops Assist the General Manager with product ordering Brand loyalty: Communicate and execute positive brand impression to the overall Guest experience. Must ensure consistency and high quality preparation of smoothies and Guest service. Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of all areas. Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances.
