Add your metrology skill to a team that thrives on continuous improvement.Role snapshotLocation: Onsite – New Port Richey, FLDepartment: Quality AssuranceSchedule: Monday–Friday, 2:45 PM–11:15 PM; routine overtimeWhat you’ll doCalibrate dimensional tools—micrometers, calipers, pin gages, thread plugs/rings, height gages—to ISO-9000 and ANSI Z540-1; kit gages after completion.Apply and verify oven and equipment calibration requirements (AMS-2750, ASTM E-29) across the plant.Conduct plant-wide calibration compliance audits and update Value Stream daily management boards.Own the flow: coordinate internal instrument status, manage outside calibration vendors, and track progress.Capture the proof: perform electronic data entry for calibration certifications and review documentation for accuracy and completeness.What you bringHigh school diploma or GED.2+ years in quality control, manufacturing, or metrology within Aerospace, Military, or Machining Manufacturing ISO9001/AS9100 settings.Fluency in complex engineering drawings and blueprint interpretation.Bonus pointsMicrosoft Office suite and SAP (or similar ERP).GageTrak experience.Hands-on with Gage R&R; awareness of ISO 17025.Core proficienciesTroubleshooting SkillsAerosol/Propellant ExperienceManual Machining SkillsAS9100 ExperienceBlueprint ReadingOther requirements:This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services.
