Respiratory Therapist

Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT-NICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 18:30 - 07:00 Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Valid compact license must be in hand at submission Certifications: BLS, RRT, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: NICU experience preferred but not required Description: All previous permanent employees of any affiliated facility must be separated from the health system for a minimum of 3 months to qualify for a travel position. Candidate must have 1 year of experience. First-timers are accepted. No call is required. Overtime shifts may be available. The position is for the night shift from 18:30 to 07:00. We have a Level 2 NICU, and while NICU experience is preferred, it is not required. Candidates may need to float between nearby facilities if required for the assignment. Travelers' refusal to float may result in termination of assignment. Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day. Must request all scheduling requests upfront during submission. Post-submission scheduling requests may not be considered or granted. Candidates should not reach out to facility contacts directly unless it is for an agreed-upon interview. Providers will be supplied with necessary communication devices to perform assigned duties at no cost. Providers will be responsible for submitting any work-related cell phone bills directly. Modules are non-billable, and all time spent on modules is factored into NBO hours. Module completion is recorded in transcripts.
