Service Technician

Job Title

Principal duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: safe operation of a company vehicle in compliance with all state and federal DOT laws, following established safety procedures, completing scheduled service orders daily, performing complete equipment diagnostics, installation or removal on residential and commercial water treatment equipment, identifying malfunctions, and resolving issues accordingly. Represent Culligan through direct interaction with customers, communicate the status of equipment with customers and provide solutions, collect payments upon completion of services, and assist with collection of past due receivables.

Location: This position will be based in Newburgh, NY with occasional travel to area Culligan branches on an as needed basis.

Minimum requirements: appropriate, valid driver's license, high school diploma or equivalent, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal/written).

Essential functions: qualified candidates must have the ability to lift over 100 pounds, drive for extended periods (2-3 hours), and kneel/bend for extended periods of time.
