Working Shop Foreman - Heavy Equipment Repair (Hydraulic Specialist)

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily shop operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to deadlines.
- Lead by example by performing hands-on repairs, particularly hydraulic cylinder disassembly, diagnostics, repair, and testing.
- Manage work orders, prioritize tasks, and track progress to meet customer expectations and company KPIs.
- Train, mentor, and support technicians to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
- Maintain an organized and clean shop environment, emphasizing attention to detail in all processes.
- Monitor inventory levels, order parts as needed, and minimize waste through effective resource management.
- Collaborate with management to analyze productivity data, identify areas for improvement, and implement process enhancements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in heavy equipment repair, with a strong focus on hydraulic systems.
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a shop setting.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze and act on performance metrics to drive shop efficiency.
