Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sports Physical Therapist role based in Scottsdale, AZ. The Sports Physical Therapist will evaluate and treat clients, including former athletes and active individuals, using evidence-based physical therapy techniques to address injuries, movement dysfunctions, and performance limitations. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, providing hands-on therapy, and guiding corrective exercise and functional training programs. The role also involves educating clients on injury prevention, recovery strategies, and lifestyle modifications to support long-term health and performance. The Sports Physical Therapist will collaborate with other team members, maintain accurate documentation, and contribute to a supportive, motivating clinic environment focused on client outcomes. Qualifications Strong foundation in Physical Therapy, including orthopedic assessment and treatment, and sports-related rehabilitation. Experience with Injury Prevention, including movement analysis, functional screening, and development of preventative programs. Competence in Strength & Conditioning, including designing and progressing performance-based exercise programs for active individuals and athletes. Knowledge of Orthopedics, with the ability to manage musculoskeletal injuries and post-injury return-to-sport planning. Commitment to high-quality Patient Care, demonstrating empathy, clear communication, and client education. Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program; current or eligible state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Arizona. Preferred experience working with athletes, sports teams, or performance-focused clients in an outpatient or sports medicine setting. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively within a team, and willingness to contribute to a positive clinic culture.
