ACT Team Leader - Social Worker or Therapist Manager

Job Description: Under administrative direction, provides clinical leadership to the ACT Team in assessment, treatment planning, general healthcare, medical and psychosocial approaches. Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) is designed to engage persons with a severe mental illness (SMI) whose needs are not met by traditional outpatient services. Services are delivered in the context and environment where they are needed (i.e., the team goes to the person). Responsibilities Direct day-to-day clinical operations of ACT team. Provide direct supervision of team members. Schedule staff work hours to ensure appropriate coverage. Lead daily team and treatment planning meetings. Evaluate status of all consumers and provide appropriate coordination of treatment to meet their challenging needs. Direct and coordinate consumer admission and assessment processes. Schedule admission interview. Supervise, direct, and coordinate completion of comprehensive assessment/reassessment of each consumer. Utilize management tools to help ensure team’s philosophy and goals are in accordance with the ACT model. Participate in staff recruitment, interviewing, hiring, orientation, and performance plans. Oversee medical record documentation to ensure quality and accuracy. Provide on-call crisis interventions and backup according to team’s policy. Participate in engaging and motivating team clients in all treatment goals while providing direct service. Manage ACT Team in maintaining organization’s required productivity standards. Oversee completion of all required documentation in a timely manner consistent with organization’s guidelines. Qualifications Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field. Six plus years of clinical experience. Supervisory background and experience with program management preferred. Requirements Valid Driver’s license. Time Type: Full time. #J-18808-Ljbffr
